I really appreciated working with the General Building Co. I got Steve in initially to talk though one of my projects and he was straight forward and nothing was too hard. I then had a new project that encompassed the first project. I liked that the team understood that my deadlines, challenges and I had shifted the work and deadlines. The priority was the new work and not the initial work but they worked hand in hand. They worked within my budget as some items couldn’t be done as I had envisaged but we got to a number that made sense to both of us. I spoke daily to the team who kept me abreast of all things to do with this major renovation of my home. I was able to leave them to do as they said they would and make sure everything was up to code and regulations as this was most important to me. Their team are professional and worked through anything that I through them. I plan to do my future renovations through the General Building Co.

Both Steve and Adrian were very professional and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble for them to explain and their work was exceptional in making repairs to an older house. Work area was always cleaned up and left tidy. Steve takes the time to explain and offers alternate ways to solve a problem. Costs were always provided in detail. Steve kept in touch regarding any delays. Excellent company to deal with. Many thanks Steve and Adrian.

I have zero regrets about using General Building Co. for my recent deck install. Steve was quick to arrive and thorough in his quotation which made me feel confident with my decision to use their services. Adrian and Elliot came to do the Sliding door install and build the deck. The guys were respectful, tidy and genuinely a joy to have here. Their work is immaculate and I am thrilled with the final product. I would highly recommend Steve and his crew if you need a Builder. I can't wait to start my next reno project so I can book them again. Thank you Steve, Adrian and Elliot for a job well done.

Flawless experience with General Building Co. They were the only company that we contacted (out of 6) that were able to provide a quote and have the decency to reply in a timely manner. Work quality was far superior to other contractors the insurance had in, the staff were extremely professional and kind. They communicated with us the whole way through. Without even needing to ask they removed tasks from the invoice at the end that the didn't end up needing to complete to reduce cost. Do yourself a favour and don't go anywhere else!

Thanks Steve for the continues communication and especially to Adrian who actually did an excellent job fixing my sinking and tired looking steps now it looks beautiful in front of my house. General Building Co is a highly professional team. They have completed two projects for us and both experience were professional and seamless. Steve provided his professional advice on the most effective approach both functionally and financially. Then his team provided the work schedules in advance and worked our way through with constant communication/updates. We had number of teams (demo, installer, electrician, painter and renderer) working on our projects and they were all very professional, seamless and good communicators. I would be happy to work with General Building Co on our next renovation.

Steve and the General Building Co. Team, I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for the incredible work you did on our patio. After the cyclone hit the Gold Coast in March, we reached out to five companies to assess the damage and offer solutions for repairs. Unfortunately, only two companies showed up, and one was two days late. However, Steve, you and your team were different. You arrived exactly when you said you would, and your professionalism and expertise were evident from the start. You not only provided a solution to fix our patio, but you also turned a stressful situation into a smooth and enjoyable experience. Watching our patio go from damaged to fully restored was truly a relief, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you, Steve, for your dedication and for making this process so seamless.
